The odd feelings of menopause
Many women who walk through the stage of menopause experience “odd” and disturbing emotions, which are perfectly normal and are part of a mechanism that will make them, pay special attention to their health and well-being. They may become angry, needy, moody, dismissive and feel a sense of loss and nostalgia.
The new feelings as disturbing as they are for her and others are due to the changes that hormones cause to brain’s biochemistry. They are temporary and give the woman the opportunity to think about the sources of dissatisfaction with her life and to work on them to live a fulfilling life of emotional and physical well-being.
